Sarah had a transformative experience in the Italy Summer Abroad program. Although the experience came with its own challenges, it made Sarah more resilient as she learned to embrace the unfamiliar. Our Social Media Correspondent, Jasvy, and our Summer Abroad Assistant, Helen, talked about the academic highlights of taking MGT395Y0 in South Korea. Jasvy highlights how the course's experiential field trips, including a visit to the Korea Stock Exchange, provided a unique and holistic understanding of global business in a real-world context. The immersion in a new country challenged her assumptions and provided a deeper understanding of cultural, political, and historical forces that shape business models.

David and our Summer Abroad Assistant, Ollie, had an excellent conversation surrounding how the multiculturalism of Singapore and academic structure of the Summer Abroad course attracted David to participate in the program. From visiting the Singapore Parliament which helped David apply real life applications of his political science background to being pushed out of his comfort zone to do a solo trip, he learned how to become independent and self-confident.
