Summer Abroad Program Fees
The Summer Abroad Program fees are paid to U of T Summer Abroad, through the Summer Abroad online portal.
The deadlines for Summer Abroad Program Fees are as follows:
- Application fee: Wednesday, Jan 14, 2026 at 4:00pm
- A deposit of $1,000 is due one week after admission notification
- All remaining fees: TBC

Financial Assistance
Students applying for the France (Paris) Art History FAH courses may be eligible for the DRG Undergraduate award.
Domestic students applying for the France (Paris) German GER course may be eligible for the JIGES award.
Open to domestic U of T degree students, who are Ontario residents and have demonstrated financial need.
Students must be admitted to one of the following 2026 Summer Abroad courses:
(1) France (Paris) Summer Abroad: GER354Y0: Paris - Dreamworld of Modernity, taught by Prof. Hang-Sun Kim.
(2) Germany (Berlin) Summer Abroad: GER354Y0 Berlin Roots: Creativity, Culture, and the Making of a Global Creative City, taught by Prof. Stefana Gargova
Awarded to eligible undergraduate students who have 1.0 FCE in Art History and are admitted to the program.
Students in their second (completed), third, and fourth year will be eligible for these awards, and will be selected based on academic excellence and financial need at the discretion of the Chair, Department of Art History.
Awarded to undergraduate student(s) taking part in the Summer Abroad Program who completed at least one full-year of study (4 FCEs) with a GPA of at least 3.0 and demonstrates financial need. The student(s) should be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Preference will be given to Woodsworth College students who have never travelled abroad.
Awarded to undergraduate students participating in the Summer Programs, based on financial need and academic merit. Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person and be a domestic Ontario resident.
Awarded to undergraduate student(s) participating in the Summer Abroad Program who has completed at least one full-year of study (4FCEs) with a GPA of at least 2.0 and demonstrates financial need. The student/s should be Canadian citizens. Preference will be given to students who have never travelled abroad.
Awarded to student/s participating in the Summer Abroad, based on academic merit and the quality of their application. Open to both domestic and international students.
Awarded to undergraduate student(s) taking part in the Summer Abroad Program who has completed at least one full-year of study (4 FCE’s) with a GPA of at least 3.0 and demonstrates financial need. The student/s should be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident. Preference will be given to Woodsworth College students.

Awarded to students, participating in the Summer Abroad program, based on financial need. Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person and a domestic Ontario resident. Preference will be given to Woodsworth College students.
Awarded to undergraduate students participating in the Summer Abroad program, based on academic merit and quality of their application. Open to both domestic and international students.
To be awarded to undergraduate students participating in the Summer Abroad program, based on academic achievement, financial need and recent contributions to the advancement of equity, diversity and inclusion. Preference will be given to Black and Indigenous students.
Awarded to student(s) participating in the Summer Abroad program, based on merit. Preference will be given to a Woodsworth College student.
