Costs

The deadlines for fees payable to the University of Toronto are as follows:

  • Application fee: due February 3, 2020
  • Non-Refundable Deposit of $1,000 due one week after admission notification
  • All remaining fees: due April 6, 2020

2020 Costs of Studying in France (Domestic Students)

U of T Incidental Fees $180 Estimate based on 2019 part-time summer fees
Field Trip Fees (FCS Only) $450 Includes on-site transportation, guides and entrance fees
Accommodation $775 Based on single accommodation in Institut Residence
Airfare $1,187 Group flight arranged by U of T – optional participation
Meals $750 Estimate – paid on site for purchased and self-prepared meals
Transportation $100 Estimate – based on local transit to the classrooms from the residences
Medical Travel Insurance variable Students must provide proof of medical travel insurance
Miscellaneous Expenses variable All students should budget for miscellaneous expense (e.g. travel, gifts, etc.)
Approximate TOTAL Program Cost INCLUDING field trips $6,642 (FSL courses) – $7,092 (FCS course) This figure does not include mandatory medical travel insurance

Financial Assistance

Anne Lawrence Memorial Scholarship
Though preference will be given to St. Michael's College students, students from other U of T colleges will be considered if there are no St. Michael's College applicants. Students must submit a letter to the Summer Abroad office stating how they would benefit from the Tours summer program. Only applies to students in French language courses.

Dora and Al Track Award
The recipient must be a Woodsworth College student with a minimum CGPA of 3.0
1 x $1,000
Dr. Sam and Dr. Doris Lau Scholarships
Multiple, $500 - $4,500
John Browne Award
Preference will be given to Woodsworth College students.

Marjorie E. Simonds Travel Award
Students apply by submitting a letter to the summer Abroad office stating how they would benefit from receiving this award. Preference will be given to Woodsworth College students.

Rose Patten International Program Award
The recipient of this award must be a Woodsworth College student.

Awarded to students studying in any of the programs offered, based on academic merit and quality of their application.
