The following awards are not administered through the Summer Abroad office, and are all contingent on adequate funding. Please check with the relevant University for further information.
Student awards open to all Canadian Students
Stork Awards in German Studies
The Stork Awards in German Studies, valued from $500 up to $1,500 per student, are awarded annually to full-time undergraduate or graduate students registered within the first four years of their program at a Canadian University. This award is granted through University of Waterloo and it is open to students registered at all Canadian universities. Please email wcgs@uwaterloo.ca for further information regarding this award.

University of Alberta
The University of Alberta offers awards to support students wishing to attend the CSSG program:

The University of Waterloo offers 2 types of International experience awards to our students who are travelling abroad. The Presidents International Experience Award (available to students who have received the Presidents Scholarship of Distinction Entrance award who maintained and over 80% avg in Year One), and a variety of regular International Experience Awards. Students are required to complete one general application for regular International Experience award and are considered for numerous award funds available. Awards typically range from $500-$2500.
