Student Spotlight in England: Oxford

Hugo’s Bio: Hugo is a 3rd year University of Toronto (UTSG) student double majoring in CrimSL and Sociology.

Our Summer Abroad Ambassador, Hugo, shares highlights from the Oxford, England program where he participated in the Criminology course. He reflects on the positive impact studying in a different country did as it allowed him to gain a new perspective on the topics he learned, as well as the cultural immersion the program offered. He enjoyed the smaller class sizes that provided a more in-depth approach with the professor. Additionally, he discusses the amazing extracurriculars he was able to participate in like class field trips and personal trips to London and Manchester that allowed him to be involved in unique experiences and meet new friends.
