South Korea 2021 Social Media Correspondent Video

Following his virtual Summer Abroad experience in RSM395Y, our Social Media Correspondent, Zhiquan, had this to say about the course:

This summer has been a unique and memorable one for all of our 2021 South Korea Summer Abroad Program students. We spent a meaningful month exploring the topics of Business Modelling and Global Organizations, listening to guest lecturers’ in-depth talks on Korean enterprises as well as personal career planning, and travelling around South Korea virtually with our field trip guide Michelle Kim. By learning the individual topics on various industries in this world, we are able to gain deep understanding of how our daily life relies on the cooperation between different sectors. Moreover, the group presentations in this program provide us with opportunities to learn from each other and strengthens our teamworking skills. Although we are unable to travel to South Korea this summer due to the pandemic, we still look forward to visiting some of its famous attractions someday in the future! For me, I really want to visit the Namsan Tower in Seoul because I can have a panoramic view of the city on it. And I also want to visit the Jeju Island to enjoy sunshine and its peaceful beach view. What’s more, Itaewon is also a place I want to visit as there are lots of local shops, cafes and restaurants for me to explore!
