Government Aid

Students who participate in the Summer Abroad programs are eligible to apply for Summer OSAP or financial aid from their home province (just as they would be when taking a U of T summer course in Toronto).

U of T students with disabilities who are currently receiving OSAP may qualify for additional funding, such as Ontario Bursary for Students with Disabilities (BSWD) and the Canada Student Grant for Services and Equipment for Students with Disabilities (CSG-DSE), for Summer Abroad. You would need to meet the BSWD/ CSG-DSE requirements. To find out more information, you are advised to connect with your Accessibility Advisor and start the process as early as possible. 

Please note that students who will receive OSAP for the summer may not defer payment of their Summer Abroad fees. As Summer Abroad course starts before the OSAP payments arrive, you will need to pay the Summer Abroad fees first in full well before your OSAP funding is received.
