Before the virtual Beijing & Tianjin program began last summer, we connected with Professor Weiguo Zhang and Professor A. Ka Tat Tsang to find out their favourite parts of the course and how they've adapted it to include interactive ways for students to virtually experience the course material.

Andrew is a UTM student who participated in RSM295Y International Management taught by Professor Sam Chiu on-site in Hong Kong in 2019 and in SOC393Y0 Selected Topics in Sociological Science Research: Contemporary Chinese Society taught virtually by Professors Weiguo Zhang and Tat Tsang in 2021. In this interview, Andrew shares his experiences with both program styles, explains why both were valuable parts of his U of T experience, and offers advice for students applying to future Summer Abroad programs
