Student Spotlight in Singapore

David’s Bio: David is a 4th year student at U of T. He studies commerce and management, and is doing a minor in political science and economics. 

David and our Summer Abroad Assistant, Ollie, had an excellent conversation surrounding how the multiculturalism of Singapore and academic structure of the Summer Abroad course, JPA331Y0 Rise of China as a Global Power, attracted David to participate in the program. From visiting the Singapore Parliament which helped David apply real life applications of his political science background to being pushed out of his comfort zone to do a solo trip, he learned how to become independent and self-confident.
