Students will stay at Youniq Seville, a new residence hall which is right next to where you will be taking classes. The residence is a modern facility home to both international and Spanish students. Students will live in single (bachelor style) rooms that include a kitchen, air conditioning, TV and an ensuite washroom. In-room internet access is included in the residence costs.
Single rooms (bachelor style): CAD$1,150; Students should budget $800 for meals.
No group flight is available for this program; students must make their own travel arrangements. Please note that if you choose to arrive earlier or leave later than the program dates for the accommodation option you have selected, you will be responsible for arranging your own housing for the extra day(s).
All students are responsible for making sure that their necessary travel documents are in order. Information on entry requirements is available from the Consulate of Spain in Toronto.
As of the time of publication (December 2020), Canadian citizens only need a passport valid for six months beyond their return date to enter Spain as a visitor. Citizens of other countries may have additional requirements.
Health and Safety
All students are responsible for making sure that their necessary travel documents are in order for them to enter the countries listed below as visitors. Information on the entry requirements is available from the embassies/consulates of each country.
All students admitted to the Summer Abroad program are required to successfully complete an online PDO, which will provide information and advice on international health and safety issues. Students are also strongly encouraged to attend the Spain PDO, which will take place in May 2021.
