Students will stay at Youniq student accommodation, a new residence hall which is right next to where you will be taking classes. The residence is a modern facility home to both international and Spanish students. Students can choose either a single room or a double room in the residence. If a student chose a single room, he/she will stay in a two-bedroom apartment (a "Twodio") which they will have to themselves, the second bedroom will be locked. Room features include internet access, air-conditioning, a private bathroom, a microwave, stovetop, and fridge. Building features include access to a gym, games room, cinema, and study spaces, as well as a terrace with an outdoor swimming pool.
The cost of staying in a double room is $ 1,060, and $1,195 for a single room.
No group flight is available for this program; students must make their own travel arrangements. Please note that if you choose to arrive earlier or leave later than the program dates for the accommodation option you have selected, you will be responsible for arranging your own housing for the extra day(s).
All students are responsible for making sure that their necessary travel documents are in order for them to enter Spain as visitors. Information on entry requirements is available from the Consulate of Spain in Toronto.
Information on the current entry requirements for Spain is available by visiting the Global Affairs Canada website. Please note that most governments have implemented special entry and exit restrictions and requirements for their territory due to COVID-19.
If your flight plans include a stopover in another country (even if it is just a few hours long), you should also check that country's visa requirements in case you require a transit visa for the stopover.
