Accommodation
Students will stay at Livensa, a new residence hall which is close to where you will be taking classes. The residence is a modern facility home to both international and Spanish students. The rooms are private studios with their own kitchen and bathroom. Room features include a private bathroom ensuite, a fully fitted kitchen (sink, microwave, fridge freezer, induction hobs and extractor hood), air conditioning and 100 Mb Wi-Fi. Building features include access to a gym, games room, library, work rooms, a swimming pool, a cinema as well as a terrace.
The cost of accommodation in Spain program is $ xxxx. In addition, students are required to pay 200 EURO deposit before check in the residence and the deposit will be returned in full if there's no damage in the room during the stay.
Group Flight
No group flight is available for this program; students must make their own travel arrangements. Please note that if you choose to arrive earlier or leave later than the program dates for the accommodation option you have selected, you will be responsible for arranging your own housing for the extra day(s).
Entry Requirements
All students are responsible for making sure that their necessary travel documents are in order for them to enter Spain as visitors. Information on entry requirements is available from the Consulate of Spain in Toronto.
Information on the current entry requirements for Spain is available by visiting the Global Affairs Canada website. Please note that most governments have implemented special entry and exit restrictions and requirements for their territory due to COVID-19.
If your flight plans include a stopover in another country (even if it is just a few hours long), you should also check that country's visa requirements in case you require a transit visa for the stopover.
Health and Safety
All students are responsible for making sure that their necessary travel documents are in order for them to enter the countries listed below as visitors. Information on the entry requirements is available from the embassies/consulates of each country.
Pre-Departure Orientation
All students admitted to the Summer Abroad program are required to successfully complete a Safety Abroad Workshop, which will provide information and advice on international health and safety issues. Students are required to attend the Spain Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO), which will take place on (Date and Time TBA).
