Costs

The deadlines for fees payable to the University of Toronto are as follows:

  • Application fee: Date TBA
  • Non-Refundable Deposit of $1,000 due one week after admission notification
  • All remaining fees: due (date TBA)

2022 Costs of Studying in France (Domestic Students)

Accommodation $850 Based on single accommodation at the Institut de Touraine residence
Meals $800 Estimate - paid onsite for purchased and self-prepared meals
Transportation $100 Estimate - based on local transit to the classrooms from the residences
Medical Travel Insurance variable Students must provide proof of medical travel insurance
Miscellaneous Expenses variable All students should budget for miscellaneous expenses (e.g. travel, gifts, etc.)

Financial Assistance

Summer Abroad Bursary
Variable. Up to $3,000
Anne Lawrence Memorial Scholarship
Though preference will be given to St. Michael's College students, students from other U of T colleges will be considered if there are no St. Michael's College applicants. Students must submit a letter to the Summer Abroad office stating how they would benefit from the Tours summer program. Only applies to students in French language courses.

Dora and Al Track Award
The recipient must be a Woodsworth College student with a minimum CGPA of 3.0

Dr. Sam and Dr. Doris Lau Scholarships
Variable.
Marjorie E. Simonds Travel Award
Students apply by submitting a letter to the summer Abroad office stating how they would benefit from receiving this award. Preference will be given to Woodsworth College students.

Ruth Kirkland Summer Abroad Scholarship
Awarded to students studying in any of the programs offered, based on academic merit and quality of their application.
