Accommodation and Meals
Housing is available in on-campus student residences at Worcester College. Students will live in single rooms with a private (ensuite) washroom. A Porters’ Lodge is staffed 24 hours a day. All rooms have access to wifi or students may also use a wired internet connection. There is no air conditioning. Students will have access to shared kitchen facilities, a Junior Common Room (with TV), card-operated laundry machines, a small computer room, college pub, sports field and gym. Accommodation includes breakfast every day of the program.

There is no group flight for this program; students must make their own travel arrangements. The Summer Abroad Office will provide more information and recommended flights to admitted students.
Departure date from Toronto: Saturday, August 6 (arrive August 7)
Return date from London: Saturday, September 3
Please note that if you choose to arrive earlier or leave later than the program dates, you will be responsible for arranging your own housing for the extra day(s).
All students are responsible for making sure that their necessary travel documents are in order for them to enter the United Kingdom as visitors. Information on the current entry requirements for the UK is available visiting the Global Affairs Canada website. Please note that most governments have implemented special entry and exit restrictions and requirements for their territory due to COVID-19.
If your flight plans include a stopover in another country (even if it is just a few hours long), you should also check that country's visa requirements in case you require a transit visa for the stopover

Health and Safety
All students admitted to the Summer Abroad program are required to successfully complete an online Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO), which will provide information and advice on international health and safety issues.
Students are also strongly encouraged to attend the group PDO for England, which will take place in May 2022 (either in-person or virtually, TBC).
